Queenscliffe Climate Action Now (QCAN) is an organisation responding
to the climate crisis, based on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula.

I created a total rebrand for them including logo, style guide, branding elements, merch, social media assets, and more. The new brand is an homage to the colours, community, and biodiversity of the natural environment in the area.
Nature’s perfection is in its imperfections. Rarely is a tree straight, or a shell perfectly spherical, yet it just bloody works. We wouldn’t have it any other way. As such, the iconography created is inspired by the imperfections, and are playful, organic and malleable in their application.
The design system is intended to be extremely loose, fun and adaptable in its application. The colour palette can change and be curated to the match the content of each piece of comms and the tone of voice, from energetic and playful, to more serious and straighforward.
